New feature request - Stereo

Post by MarkT »

Hi,

I'm wondering if it would be possible to add a rotation slider to the Stereo transformation? I have been using the rotation option in Crop, then have to crop both left and right images to "same size", but only after I find out I rotated the camera a little between taking the two shots.

Probably difficult because of the "same size" requirement, but I thought I'd ask. And while I'm asking, of course it should include the ability to pick a central point around which the rotation can occur...

Thank you.

Instead of using Crop to rotate, try using Level instead and select the second button on the tool bar which rotates while preserving the image size.

For the next release, I added a Rotation slider to the Stereo transformation dialog box. Before combining the images, it rotates one image clockwise and the other counter-clockwise to keep both images the same size.

Thank you Jonathan! The rotation function is exactly what I was looking for.
