Re: PW cannot handle Olympus RAW files?
I briefly had access to Olympus RAW (.ORF) files, so I tested them in PWP; using both VNG and AHD interpolations. I don't see the 'mesh' that Bogumil has seen. Perhaps it's a specific sensor/camera/RAW processing combination. I'm not sure if this is helpful, but at 4:1 seems to be a bit of pixel mic...

Probing for output (vector end) colour in Colour Correct
I'm almost sure it's not possible, but decided to double check: is there a way of probing an output (arrow end) colour off an image for a control vector in Colour Correct?

Comments for Workflows and/or widgets
PWP Support section may not be the best place to post this suggestion, but I'm not sure where else to put it before I forget it. I wonder if it's possible at all and if others would have a need for it: Would it be possible to have a text comment feature, either a single one for the entire workflow (...

Re: Macbeth Colour Checker and Slide Film
Keith, I also asked Danny Pascale of BableColour, he's got various measurements of Macbeth, but not on films. His article on and spreadsheet on the updated chart values (and how it's done) is worth reading. Cheers.

Re: Macbeth Colour Checker and Slide Film
Thanks Han, I emailed Wolf Faust a few days ago about it, but the answer was that his targets won't be useful in finding what slide films do to colours. I'm still not sure why or how his targets are produced or if there is a single colorimetric, measurable IT8 standard from which slide rendition can...

Re: High ISO Digital Monochromic [BW] Imaging
This may be of interest. I haven't tried to figure out how it does it. The trial download is ~100Mb.

Re: Macbeth Colour Checker and Slide Film
Thanks Han, I mentioned Macbeth, mostly because I have it and know its characteristics. I'm not sure if I understand IT8 targets: the colorimetry of the targets on various materials is measured, but what's known about the original colours under known illuminant? My intention is to figure out how a s...

Macbeth Colour Checker and Slide Film
Does anyone have access to colorimetric data (or calibrated scan) of Macbeth Colour Checker patches rendered on slide films? Cheers!

Arrange windows on top of each other
Blink can temporarily collocate up to 5 windows, but only when it runs; pausing it causes windows to drift back where they were. I just realized that if there was a simple way of placing the same-size, same-zoom windows on top of each other (akin to Windows/Arrange/etc. or if Blink arrangement can b...

History and ghost windows
This has been reported I recall, but I still can't figure out the trigger for this behaviour: often the History reports non-existent windows (or sometimes the dual entry for the same window). One example is when all windows are closed with Close All, but the history still reports several open or pen...
