Re: Batch processing

Did it select multiple files in the dialog box. Did the multiple filenames show up at the bottom of the dialog box as File name:? Yes, it did. What version of Windows are you using? Win7 I tried a few other things and I wonder now if it is nothing to do with the file type, but rather the length of t...

Re: Batch processing

>> When I tried to do this I could only select and add maximum of two files to the list. I could build a much longer list adding two at a time, but this seems unlikely to be the intended behaviour! You click the folder with a + sign on it and the select as many files as you want using Ctrl-Click or...

Batch processing

For batch processing I assume the intended procedure is to have an export transformation at the end of the chain, then edit the top level dialog to add more files? When I tried to do this I could only select and add maximum of two files to the list. I could build a much longer list adding two at a t...

Re: Image Browser suggestion

Yes, thanks. It's amazing: make a suggestion and the following day it is implemented! For laptops with no numpad I have modified an Autohotkey script ( https://github.com/DesiQuintans/CapslockNumpad ) to convert the normal top row <-> to <numpad->. Attached in case it might be useful to others (who ...

Re: Image Browser suggestion

I work like this as well, using my laptop for the image browser and my better, larger monitor to evaluate the results: seconded! There are a couple of other minor inconsistencies: 1) the delete key does not work if the image browser window has focus. 2) the 'confirm delete' key appears overlying the...

Crash to desktop: stack images

If I open an image (only tried jpeg) and then 'stack images' I get an immediate crash. (win 7, latest PWP exe)

Sorry, I think we are on the same page here just with semantic confusion. When I said 'mask' I was thinking of an image actually in the mask box so that it appears as a fly-out thumbnail.

Sorry, can you restate this with some simpler examples of what you tried to do that did not work? The original recipe required making a gamma curv...

An minor niggle with white mask slider

On many (all?) of the dialogs with a mask clicking just outside the white slider marker brings up the mask box. Its very easy to miss the small marker when you have one eye on the picture and the unwanted menu is a (very minor annoyance).

Contrast mask method and mask handling.

I've been trying a few more complex things to try and get to grips with the PW8 workflows, and I had a go at implementing den's contrast mask method. This is what I came up with, and thought I would post it to see if anyone can improve on it. I was unable to make the masks using the 'masks' menu or ...
