Re: soft proofing (like in the "camera to print" video)

Thanks Well I can, but it involves switching repeatedly proofing on/off You should display the non proofed version with another program (color management aware). I think you cannot execute two instances of PWP at the same time. Do you have photoshop or Lightroom,...? Bernard Nice suggestion, but I ...

Re: soft proofing (like in the "camera to print" video)

Hi Just a note that the original "camera to print" has successor and a specific part on color management. It's biased to adobe products, but I recommended it to all users that wat to use color management and softproofing. http://www.luminous-landscape.com/videos/tutorials/guide_to_colour_m...

Strange things happening after proofing

Hi I do see some strange things after using the print proofing button and back. If I use kodak prophoto as working space and image space I get the expected result, but : When I open an image in adobe RGB, soft proof and disable it again, the image turn blueish. This makes the soft proofing button no...

Re: PWP 6.0

Actually, a small PWP 6.0 beta of both new 32 and 64 bit versions has been running for the last several months. (We have kept the beta small so that we could respond more efficiently to bug reports.) We will do a short public beta at the end of September and then hopefully release the product soon ...

After thinking about it : just zooming in 1 level, with the current position in the center would be even better.

Re: Double-click and 1:1?

... An advantage of double clicking, that I can think of, is the possibility of instantly centering the 1:1 crop at the point that you double-clicked on. This would be very very nice. Even if the position is used when using the drop down menu. It's annoying to go searching the right location after ...

Re: Print Software Recommendation

Hi

I'm quite happy with Qimage. I'm using the pro version.

I'm really fond on the automatic correct sharpening and resizing features. It's very easu to print with, after you get beyond some UI quirks. I use it for single or seldom dual image printing, very seldom for more images at the same time.

Re: PWP 5.0.1.9 Posted

I'm with afx

My program files folder is protected for years and on all my pc's (home and work).

A program writing in it is simply a big security risk.
